About this course

This on-demand recording will fully support schools and settings to utilise the new Early Years ESSENTIALWRITING planning for the 25/26 academic year. The training pertains to the plans for 3-4 year olds. The webinar will equip teachers and practitioners with a thorough understanding of how to use the plans and resources to fully support all pupils.

  • develop a comprehensive understanding of the rationale and pedagogy underpinning ESSENTIALWRITING in the Early Years

  • examine the alignment between ESSENTIALWRITING in the 3-4 year old plans with those in Reception

  • experience real-life examples of practice relating the plans, to see how targeted teaching and support can empower all children to meaningfully develop skills in mark making, drawing and early writing
