About this course

This course offers three 1‑hour sessions across the academic year to help primary science subject leaders stay up to date with key developments and best practice. Each session provides updates from organisations such as the ASE, EEF and Ofsted, along with opportunities for discussion and practical guidance to support science teaching across the school.

  • explore current guidance and research to understand the key components of an effective science curriculum

  • signpost helpful blogs, resources and sources of support that can be used to for whole school development and shared with teachers across the school to enhance teaching and learning

  • be a forum for discussion and sharing of good practice

  • highlight opportunities to enrich the science curriculum throughout the year
