Available to anyone booking on behalf of a school or setting who wishes to pay by card.

About this course

This course provides early years practitioners with the essential safeguarding and child protection knowledge (listed in the EYFS - Annex C). Ensuring that practitioners understand their responsibility to keep children safe and to share concerns appropriately. This course is suitable for early years practitioners and staff working with children aged 0-5yrs.

  • understand safeguarding and child protection and how they relate to your role, including compliance with the EYFS and relevant legislation

  • learn how to work in ways that safeguard children from abuse, harm and neglect

  • be able to recognise, respond and report on the main categories and possible indicators of abuse

  • recognise factors, situations and actions that could lead or contribute to abuse, harm or neglect

  • learn how to recognise, respond, record and effectively refer all concerns or allegations related to other persons working with children
