About this course

This training course provides an in-depth overview of the new Ofsted ‘School Inspection Toolkit’ for Primary Schools, enabling participants to develop a clear understanding of the key changes and their implications for school practice.

Ofsted notes:

‘The aims of the toolkits are to be a useful tool for both the sector and inspectors, to support continuous improvement.’

‘Our hope is this will mean the toolkits can also be useful to leaders in between inspections, to help map out improvements and reinforce strengths.’

The course will offer practical strategies to help schools demonstrate impact, align their self-evaluation with the new toolkits and help foster a culture of continuous improvement.

  • Supports attendees in preparing effectively for upcoming inspections through professional dialogue and practical guidance.

  • Provides structured opportunities for reflection on current practice.

  • Helps school leaders identify next steps and key priorities for development within their own setting.
